Why We Work in Health

Health Camps and Screenings

We bring healthcare to where people are— rural communities and apartments

  • General health check-ups are conducted across government schools in partnership with Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS), covering dental, vision, and physical health.
  • Specialist camps for women offer cancer screenings and gynecological consultations in underserved communities.
  • Community health camps in apartment clubhouses reach domestic staff, gardeners, and security workers.
  • Blood Donation Camps, held in collaboration with Rotary TTK Blood Bank, served four communities and helped dozens of patients in need of emergency transfusions.
  • Eye Donation Awareness & Registration sparked important conversations around organ donation and social responsibility.

Health Support and Medical Aid

For many families, a small medical cost can derail everything. We help prevent that.

  • We raises funds to supply medicines, prescription glasses, and diagnostics to those who can’t afford them.
  • We work closely with ASHA workers in Seegehalli and Kannamangala to identify patients who require intervention but fall outside welfare safety nets.
  • In 2019, we partnered with Rotary Jeevanbeema Nagar to set up a free dialysis unit at VIMS, now available to BPL cardholders at minimal cost.

Crisis Response & COVID-19 Action

We stood with our communities in their toughest hour.

  • Supported 120+ gated communities in ensuring compliance with health advisories, impacting over 20,000 households.
  • Leased ambulances, equipped them with advanced life support systems, and deployed skilled drivers and paramedics to ensure safe emergency transport for COVID-affected families.
  • Set up a community-led cloth mask unit to produce and distribute three-layered masks at the peak of the shortage.

Community Health Events

Annual Diabetes Walkathon : Started in 2015, the walkathon was born from the need to break the taboo around diabetes and encourage early detection and lifestyle change.

Over the years, it has grown from 600 to 3,000+ participants, with sponsorship from VIMS and Columbia Asia. Today, it stands as a symbol of proactive, community-driven healthcare in Mahadevapura.
